I remember the video from back in the day. What I remember the most were MC Hammer's oversized trousers.

It seems like the tune was forgotten about and then appeared many years later as a meme.

My best memory of MC Hammer
Back when I was 16, I was at my first teenage party that I'd been to for some time. I was very shy and at first mostly stuck with a very small group of friends and felt a bit lost and awkward. But when U Can't Touch This came on, I burst out of my shell and got up and danced! This won the admiration of several partygoers and I finally felt I had found my place at these parties - albeit briefly. Needless to say, I danced a few more times and started going to more parties and my life was never quite the same since...
