Or run it in Windows xp compatability mode, on the properties for the shortcut. Me? Joining in an HSH thread? Blimey.

The version on PSN is OK as it goes, just can't master the ninja rope...

Am I being an absolute cunt in this? I have been "allowed" to buy another guitar to add to my Fender Strat, and as it cost £400 odd for a passable guitar, and the Arts Council are offering interest free loans for 10 months, I decided it was time to invest in a full blown Brand spanking Gibson Les Paul Studio, costing £849 (in shiny, shiny Ebony). Silly me, the wife doesn't think this is a good idea- quite vociferously. I think the phrase "taking the piss" was brought into it, amongst others.
Now, we are moving, she wants a front door costing £440+. I did not say a word. There are other cheaper alternatives, but she wants the best.
Comments?

I'd say get the cheaper guitar, and go for the good front door.

And I have to have a cheapo desk for the PC to make up for it. And yes, I do sound like a complete twat when you put it like that, Maladicta.
Curse you.

Although I have no idea how I'm going to get as far as the 4th without spending so much as a pound...

But I still wouldn't get a new front door.
Doors suck
Guitars have saved my life.

Interest free for 10 months means 80 odd quid a month. You could spunk that on a decent night out, or get something really long lasting and memorable.
As you say, the front door is on the mortgage, which is the cheapest long term loan you'll ever get. Fuck it, you only live once, if you can afford the guitar you want, buy the guitar you want. There is nothing worse than compromising and then regretting it every time you use it.
Case Study. My mrs picked out an engagement ring which cost a lot more than I initially indicated I was willing to spend. But I spent it as I didn't want her to be wearing this ring that she ultimately didn't want.

I have the £400, so it will only be about £45 ish per month, but logic does not dictate in relationship issues.

Mrs B wanted to "talk" about it tonight, but Platoon (for about the 14th time of watching) was far more preferable. I was being extremely immature and shoving my toys out of the pram. Quietly.
