Cottage or Sheppard’s pie?
Alternatively, what is the greatest ever ‘B’ side?

Generally, I'd agree with you, however, as a B side, Masterplan is brilliant.

You just under rate them...
(I like you anyway, we just disagree on this)

Our Stone Roses opinion differs, but I'm sure we can all agree that The Clash are the best band ever.

Then they went and released Falling Down, which I loved.
Then I rediscovered Talk Tonight. Someone put it on our jukebox at a particularly poignant moment and I was totally sucked in.

I agree both songs are great, but I don't agree that The Roses are overated.
(also, i just realised i meant this as a reply to Dirtymany3's)

They get a lot of undue worship considering the 1 good album is yes, a good solid album, but the second was not that decent. 1 album does not maketh a great band.
All in my humble opinion of course!

And wrong opinion!
The second album was pretty good. It just got bad reviews and fell into that old trap of 'Not wanting to like it'!

The b side to "Australia" by the manics was a cover of Andy Williams "Cant take my eyes off of you". It was really good, much better than the A-side.

- made from real shepherds.
Cottage pie wins by a country mile, absolutely no contest

Can't beat a bit of mashed potato on your cock in the gents'.
Best 'B'-side? Racking my brains at the moment but, having never bought many singles, I'm going to proffer "Scream and Shout" by King Adora.

is emerald (thin lizzy) just for the thudding solo.
