I'm surprised there's no grumbling about them not being proper A's and being easier than in our day. I would never dream of doing such a thing, of course.

I got 2 A's and a C, and got a grade 2 on the Chemistry Special Paper.

I would challenge anyone who says that
To do the Core 4 Maths paper I did. And then see if they can still say it was harder in the good old days.

ha I've got an MEng in Civil Engineering
which was mostly maths, and I'd struggle with a GCSE maths paper, and suspect that most other engineers would too!

I've got a B.Sc in Maths
and I suspect that without a good run-up I'd struggle with GCSE level.
