Morning all
I watched Ipswich get taught a footballing lesson yesterday, very pleasing. I also found a fabulous Indian restaurant on Friday which will definitely be getting some repeat custom.

what did you eat?
i hunted out a really plain wee place in derby after it was recommended by a pal who used to live there, the shah-en-shah i think. fantastic food, and really good pastries and sweets too!

I had
MURGH AUR SHIMLA MIRCH DOSA to start, it was spicy stir fried chicken & peppers in a crepe made from fermented rice and dhal flour, eaten by hand apparently. It was enormous and incredibly tasty.
Then Sag Gosht, lamb & spinach with rice and nan, exceptional. Also tried a bit of my tablemates' sauces and agreed they were all brilliant. I don't even like fish but the seabass cooked in coconut milk with chillies was amazing.

Yeah, the one in Birmingham won loads of awards
and this is a new one opposite a pub we go to a lot so that's good. It's about 15 minutes walk too, so good for an evening when I don't feel like cooking.
