I hate worrying about things too, which doesn't help
I'm normally really calm and relaxed about stuff, but this has got my stomach in a knot. There's bugger all I can do about it (other than try and make the thing work better on the sly just in case it does get reviewed) and it's really getting to me. Stopping me from doing other work.

Thanks to bureaucracy, sometimes, the only way to make something work is to do something on the sly.
And yeah, I also find if I think too much about one task, it gives me an excuse not to I find it difficult to work on what I'm meant to be doing.

yeah, I'm finding that
we just didn't have enough of a budget or enough time when I first did the work, and I didn't have much experience at the time. Our clients are being pretty obtuse as well, which isn't helping matters at this stage.

In my line of work
I find the internal tools we use are often done by people with not much experience, leaving the end-users with a product that's more of a hack than a piece of engineering. It usually either keeps crashing or has a horrible user-interface, yet somehow manages to do the job.
