I went to Essaouira in Morocco
fucking hell it was LOVELY. there's a beautiful hotel where Jimi Hendrix used to stay that's filled with great photos of the man himself - perfect for gaylord fanboys like me. I was surprised how good Moroccan wine can be - for a bunch of Muzzers it was surprisingly tasty.

Beautiful, really old-world casbah with handicrafts etc (should have bought a dagger), and a humungous beach with half a castle sticking out of it - I bit of blown-up old fort I think.

And it's a fishing port so you can eat the freshly-caught seafood grilled for you on the quayside. Magic.

fucking incredible hashish, too - out of body sheeeit.

I wish I was back there now.
