We just had a work presentation on the new system.
1. Stick USB token into computer and enter username and password for disk encryption.
2. Enter username and password to log in to windows.
3. Bring up login page in web browser and enter username and password.
4. Click on application portal in virtual desktop that opens.
5. Enter username and password for application portal.
6. Click on virtual desktop in new window that opens.
7. Start application in virtual desktop and - you've guessed it - enter username and password.
Extra credit: They're going to *try* to ensure all the usernames are the same. We are allowed to use the same password for each but we'll have to keep them in sync manually and there's no guarantee that some might have different security requirements and expiry periods.
So inevitably passwords are going to be written down and all that security ends up leaving us less secure.
What foot-shootings have you seen recently?

passwords are now getting outdated and useless for the 30% of the work force that are retarded.
They should use smart cards or authenticators.

they changed the system so I had to type my password in 6 times.
Oh the debates that started!
I even had to tell the internet about it.

www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/
You should be able to script steps 3-7.
If I can find it I'll dig out an old script to login to a intranet, then a virtual desktop then finally SAP which should be adaptable.
