Don't know much about bancrupcy
but does that mean you'll have to sell everything you own?

As for phase 4, from what I've seen, you've managed to pull through in the end when this sort of thing happens - even if you were in it for the long haul. Perhaps the two of you being in different countries may put the distance between you that you need in order to heel the rift.

thanks Mista
but there are times when being in the same room, let alone the same country, would make everything ok. It's just difficult at times, and perhaps I've overreacted to something, but then I think it's understandable that I have... It's a woman thing!

If you think it's over-reaction
you may want to mentally step outside the situation and try looking at it from outside. Seeing that you're apart, this should be somewhat easier The best way to do that is to find a distraction to take your mind off it first, and then look at it again.

Needless to say, once you've completed the final step, if you're still together, the feeling of victory will be much sweeter than it would be if things only ran smoothly.

That's pithy
but yeah, we do get a feeling of achievement whenever we manage to get through a problem without splitting up... *rolls eyes*

Being apart doesn't make any difference to how easy it is to step outside of things - coz you can't step outside your own head. In this instance the problem itself was caused by the fact that we're apart... it just isn't easy. Oh I dunno.

Without knowing much about the situation, the only advice I can give is pithy
But as I don't even know that much about the situation, the only advice I can give is that of someone looking outside. And yes, I'm aware this does oversimplify the problem from my perspective.
