Blue rinse
Don't see it much anymore (even at the nursing home my wife runs) but what ever was the reason to use it?

A lot of the people on this forum probably never saw old ladies with blue hair but they used to be everywhere. Maybe they were the first Punks and used to actually hit tne mosh pits when they told everyone they were playing bridge. Too many broken hips put an end to that.

I reckon you're right
I used to secretly fantasise about my Granny being a punk. She had the most beautiful soft, snow white hair which she couldn't stand so fucked it up with blue rinse. There used to be pink ones too. Eeh, I remember back when all this were fields........ Tommy the horse would deliver proper bottles of milk on his cart.........

aaah
the blue rinse brigade...what a bizarre concept

"i know, seeing as how you are old and probably a bit senile, why don't we dye your hair.....erm.......BLUE"

at least it detracts from the smell of fear and piss...but you do rarely see them now. from here on in, i will be on a blue rinse alert, searching for any evidence that it has not completely disappeared.
