Firefly should be watched if you've not seen it alreadyWeeds is also very good.
I mostly watch comedy stuff, and have found Reaper and How I met your mother to be pretty amusing.

I don't quite believe I'm recommending this butLegend of the Seeker is a new thing based on the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind.
It's really dire, but strangely engaging. I put it down to the abundance of cleavage displayed at all times by one of the main characters.
