Working from home?
Ok, another post (just to prove that I am in fact alive...)

I was working from home today (had to take daughter up the MIL for childcare as OH was/is away tonight) - and my sum total of work has been, er, minimal...

I did, however, make a Chilli-con-carne (with the right amount of cumin) and (if I'm honest) a fantastic sausage casserole (which my daughter refused....)

So, when working from home - what have you done when NOT working?

If my manager is reading this, then the above is a lie...

I haven't wasted time online reading crap, playing games, chatting on Twitter and generally doing not very much.

Oh no, I never do those things.

saturday: turned up at mates house to cut hole in roof and fit Velux rooflight. fucker wasn't in and not answering his mobile...
so i loaded up the van-again and fucked off to see the joiner Simmy, my mate for 8 or maybe 9 years.
i ignored the 8 or 9 calls over the next 2 hours, along with the 2 or 3 texts.
during this time i had a couple of wee bowls of thai-stick and helped sim sort through loads of stuff. he gave me a bunch of stuff, to get rid of it i guess
***some boxes full of bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and home-office hanfles from Sharpes, Moben/Dolphine you name.

just what i need right about in 2 weeks!
all sorts of fittings and fixtures to transform a Lovely Kitchen into a Stunning Kitchen.
and he's now all getting shot of it.
i can have what i want from it.
last night i came home with cat5e cable, 6 double socket outlets, allsorts joined to allsorts by way of scart adaptors and double-female connectors and stuff. loads and load of cables and sundrie bits and bobs. certainly enough to connect up the tv in the living room of my house what is very nearly finished!!!!!!!!
i've got a stereo for the unit!

and then, 3 stoned hours passed into a fairly top afternoon showing fat boy how the construction industry install a Velux and Flashing kit. in about 4 (could've been 3 hrs), in and out. He did the Dirty work and i wanted another hour for me getting buggered about this morning.
he gave me six hours and 3 diferent kkind of weed. i've easily got 70 0r 80quidsworth of that which sdds up to...£320! Cash!
