Off to ireland next week without my laptop.
What drugs/drinks/foods/etc will allow me to make it through 10 days without this stupid web site that I find myself increasingly drawn to? maybe after 10 days without access to a computer I'll be able to break free.

But I WANT to stay away!
I could bring my laptop but I woudl then probably spend a lot of time doing the work I should be doing right now instead of visiting this site and then my wife would probably kill me as this is supposed to be a 20th aniversery trip.

We have been to Ireland a couple of other times and like it quite a bit. The other tiomes we have been there, We have gone in the winter as there are less tourists and what they call winter is more like spring to us in Vermont. I am hoping that there won't be too many tourists (like us) this time but as we will be in Dublin and Dingle at least in Dingle we will probalby see more Americans than Irish.

thurs 24th is the 250th anniversary of guinness. there'll be plenty of parties around town then. shouldn't have too much trouble finding something fun...
