Well bugger me!
I just got a job without even trying! One of the writers for the website I contribute to JAMM owns a SEO, web design and hosting company.
It's purely commission based for now, but with an outlook to "owning" the Southern California territory.
I'm a little bit stoked!

I hate to harsh your buzz, but I wouldn't get to excited.
The situation maybe different in the states, but working for commision in my experiance has been total bullshit, at least when you work for a call-centre, they give you mimimun wage on a part time basis... and if you're lucky, they'll pay your tax/insurance/whatever.

I can work all day long, 24/7/52 on a comision basis if I wanted... that equaiting to me earning money is totally another thing.

That is, unless you have something vested in the company, like a share ownership.

I understand where you're coming from. I hadn't intended to even look for another job for another few weeks, so right now I'm helping out a friend on the East Coast and trying to make a bit extra cash on the side.
