I was in the pub the other night
and Lovecats by The Cure came on. I chose to shout 'TUNNNNNNE' rather loudly and got a lot of strange looks... well I like it :(

They're one of those bands that have many a song that
if you don't love the song. You're a dick.

Lovecats, The Forest, Boys Don't Cry, Friday I'm in Love, etc

I tend to prefer the dark stuff
like off Disintegration, or the song Burn off the Crow soundtrack. Awesomeness.

Just Like Heaven can never be background music.

In addition to the above
Close to Me is another excellent one.

Well that is what I thought
but the reaction in the pub said otherwise!! Bloody bumheads everywhere!

not liking the Cure is a sure sign that someone doesn't know anything about music
I'd not really heard much of their stuff until I moved in with my gf cos she is a massive fan, and has all of their albums.

I shall shout that out next time anyone judges me!! :D
Lovecats used to be on a dancemat game for the Playstation 2! I seem to recall getting twatted around my friends house and dancing to it in her living room! Haha

at most of our recent band practices
we've launched into an inpromptu rendition of it. Our double bassist loves it

I recently learned
Boys Don't Cry on the guitar. Pretty distinctive song and easy enough but ace all the same.

And I can listen to The Perfect Girl on repeat for about 20 minutes without getting tired of it.

I agree with the above post
