bastardAlice in Chains were so good when I saw them at Sonisphere, on a par with Metallica.
Marillion sort of negates it slightly though.

Laynes dead manthey ain't never gonna be more than a tribute band.
Although their new album has got amazing reviews.

glad we agree on the Marillion frontI thought it was you who posted that you were seeing them at first and I was shocked.
I was sceptical about Alice in Chains, but they blew me away. The new singer is very good, and Jerry Cantrell is an absolute legend.
If I hadn't seen metallica twice this year they would have been my best gig of the year by a long way
