got drunk and told me nobody likes me and nobody gives a shit about me. She also mentioned that another "friend" was suggesting I actually threw Stealth through the window and forced the penny into his throat in some kind of Munchausens Syndrome by proxy thing - right.
I've been having a hard time with it, because since then I've not heard a damned word from anyone, but I'm not going to confront anyone, either.
There were two people that told me they didn't belive it was true (they've been in my apartment and know the trajectory necessary to get the cat through said window - impossible to throw him through) but other than that, everyone thinks I'm a cat killer!
The cat didn't die, and I spent close to $3K on all his stuff.
Is it wrong to be pissed off and depressed about this?

This "friend" who told you all of these things is obviously a shit-stirring wankstain. Just ignore her. I'm sure your real friends would never believe you'd thrown him through a window. And if they do believe it, then I wouldn't want them for mates anyway! I don't even know you, and I don't believe it. Tell her to get fucked, and go out and get lathered with some real mates.

how I threw Stealth through the window and how I managed to shove a penny down his throat to the extent he'd swallow it!
He's doing good now, though! He got his stitches out on Friday and loves having the cone off his head. And he's terrified of going near any of the windows, it's kinda cute!

Poor kitty! I had a cat who fell off my balcony - 3 floors down. He was still a kitten though so was still quite spongy and just got a slight internal bleed, no broken bones or anything. But he never went back on the balcony his whole life :)

because, as the wise woman says, your real friends wouldn't believe that.

Sometimes its good to find out who your real friends are.
I just went through a relationship break-up only to find a whole buch of 'friends' suddenly vanishing into the night.
As you get older you have fewer friends, but usually better ones.
