there's something about being a bit ill or having been ill that makes me work harder. So I've basically finished everything for today, and still have almost 3 hours to kill...

I always seem to work harder when I've got a mild hangover.
I was discussing this with my bookeeper and she does it too. We must overcompensate for our diminished physical and mental state.

I sometimes feel guilty for not working very hard, but on the occasions that I do I run out of work so quickly that it wipes away the guilt for a good long while afterwards.

I had a dream last night that I was involved in a race across Europe via various modes of transport
with the finish line at the top of a massive hotel in Germany.

In my dream I was in a town near the beach, which is [in reality] a rural farm town, approximate population is 100
and my friends and I are walking down a dirt road passing old beat up trucks and pretty farm houses and I look to my left then up it goes, not super fast or anything, just going on about it's merry way into the sky.
Then I took my son to a county fair. Odd.

a commandment from on high came down a while ago
saying that we are no longer allowed to listen to music. I fell to my knees, reached for the sky and shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

my tastes are pretty varied, mostly centred on rock, but I like a bit of folk and some dance type stuff. I'll give anything a go.

I'll email myself the name and check it out later. What sort of stuff is it?

Their Myspace says healing and easy listening but I'd describe them as more of rock/indie/electronica.

They're not signed as of now, touring in Sweden and their album is set to be released Feb 17.
I'm not going to point out that that is one day before my birthday and I absolutely expect to recieve that album as a gift.
