I can't decide how well I am feeling
I think I am pretty much well, however if I go ahead and act as normal at band practice tonight I may just catapult myself back into illness.

what should I do?

Do you _need_ the practice? eg, you have a gig on soon?
If not, then give it a miss. Stay at home, have a nice bath, bung on the circus-show that'll be Question Time tonight, and maybe give the misses a good old thump up the knickers.

we don't need it to perfect existing songs
but to develop new ones. plus, I haven't been out of the house in the evening for about a week.

Mrs is at home with the flu and will most likely be asleep when I got home, awake to eat dinner and then asleep again.

well, I was ill myself on monday and tuesday
it was a bit of an exaggeration about not going out for a week, as I went out, played a gig and got drunk on friday, then went to visit the other half's sister and husband all weekend.

so basically I haven't done anything since sunday. which is still bad.

Is your band anything like Linkin Park? Or do you have a female singer like Lisa Loeb?
I like both those bands.

we are not like either of those
I find it hard to describe who we sound like really.

also, we don't do covers. not because we think it is a bad idea, but because our singer/other guitarist has enough trouble remembering the songs he has written, let alone those written by anyone else
