Tales of the unexpected
Well, it seems the weather has put in one last burst of effort. It's a sunny day and I just went for a wander in a Tshirt. Didn't see that one coming.
On top of that the stuff I ordered on Amazon arrived this morning, less than 48 hours after I ordered it. Congrats to the Royal Mail, you got something right for once!
Also, my manager, bizarrely, confessed that she didn't like Parma Violets, and she gave me a packet of them. This is actually true.
So: tales of the unexpected. What unexpected yet joyous things have happened to you lately, people?

Parma Violets are a contentious issue on this board
and should only be brought up under adult supervision.

People who don't like them should be gathered up and burned in big ovens.

That's why I felt the urge to mention it
My manager is obviously one of The Others, and if it weren't for the fact that she actually gave me some Parma Violets I probably would have yelled at her for her stupidity.
For the record, I like them.

Let's fill a room with billions of Parma Violets, get naked
and get our sexy on.

Flam-Flam can come too, but only if she wears a strappy

Billions of Parma Violets?
Do you think I'm made of money?
I have got a strappy she can borrow though. It might need a scrub beforehand mind. *cough*

They're like 10p for twenty
Together we could afford to drown the world with them.

And you do realise that when I say 'strappy', I mean strap-on nappy?

Yeah, that's why I said it needs a scrub. Pesky baby poop. Gets everywhere.
And that still works out at about 5 million quid. It'd be cheaper to fill a box with Parma Violets and take turns sticking our heads in it.

I found more cheesecake in the fridge

Is it a magic fridge?

I have just discovered that by changing plug socket
I can hoover the whole house without unplugging the thing. That is the most exciting thing that has happened to me today.

Recently, I also discovered that I can extend my overdraft if I need to. While I don't like using it, it's nice to know the safety blanket is there.
