Never mind. Can't now because I have a parents' evening to go to.

I fucking hate them.

This one is even worse because it's not 'Your kids are lazy little shits' type - which is at least vaguely constructive, no, this one is a 'social, get to know the staff and other parents' type.
I don't want to know the other parents quite frankly.
I already know some of the staff thank you.

I'd rather go to the pub.

That's very tempting
but then I'd have to stay home with the kids and cook supper.

Parents' evening is the lesser of two evils and yes, today Matthew I will be Crap Mum.

EDIT better go. *sigh* if I manage to embarrass myself or have the headteacher make a pass at me I'll return with the news.
