it's all good to be honest
I tend to get as close as possible to the barrels. It's hard to describe without seeing it, but try and imagine a really crowded street, with a big bastard wearing sackcloth gloves and a large number of rugby shirts carrying a flaming barrel as tall as your arms will stretch, running as fast as he can. Then imagine it being more exciting and crazier than that.

The crowd has to get out of the way because the barrels don't stop.

One of the best things is being with people who haven't been before, as they go wide eyed and try and scrabble out of the way while the experienced of us just lean out the way, matrix style. After the first panic you then get the newcomers with a big grin and wide eyes babbling at how awesome it is.
