Firstly, do I really need to answer that initial question? Why on earth would anyone ever want to inform themselves before entering a discussion? Er, I dunno, maybe so they don't come across as a complete fuckwhit?
Secondly, none of the a priori information is anything but general knowledge. Posted publicly on a public website on the internet. Gottit?
Thirdly, motivation is irrelevant.

We need to clear this up. wbm got fed up with Gonz making basically abusive references to her cat as I mentioned in my previous thread. It was not about the violence incident. That incident actually referred to her leaping (not blindly) to the actual physical defence of the son of her partner. At no point did she brag about her actions. If you had bothered to check the source material you would be aware of this. Again, this is all publicly available info.

Finally, you DID leap blindly in simply by chosing to act before equipping yourself with the relevant facts. I think that satisfies the definition rather well. And you did so with a deliberately menacing use of words.

For someone with a degree in Psychology you really do let the academic side down.

however I won't copy and paste your replies, I think you may be able to work it out.

Firstly yes you do have to answer the question. This is not an essay, do you expect every new member of the board to read the archives? Do you read every thread every day? Or do you just wait for your interfriends to gaz you something to be offended about?

Thirdly, I disagree, context is everything and motivation is vitally important. What's your motivation?
