My sister was taken into hospital on saturday with palpatations. She's not too bad now, but they're still happening.
She's been on an ECG for the last 36 hours, and should be getting an echo this morning. This all started 5 months back, when she had a 'funny turn' (later discovered to be a mini stroke). Since then, she's been having non-stop headaches. The doctor gave her painkillers, but followed them up with "Remember, one of the main causes of headaches is overmedication." As a result, she's not taken any of them, and now her headaches are so bad she can't even think straight.
I've spoken to several people about this, and all have said 'Don't worry, it's not serious, she'll be fine', but I can't help but worry.
Not really much else I can say, I just wanted to get this off my chest.

They'll do some test on her, guess what's wrong treat her... but she'll get worse. Then when all hope is lost her Doctor will have a flash of inspiration while talking to someone and he'll diagnose her and treat her and it'll all be fine. The episode will end with a sarcy remark or some sexual tension between people who work at the hospital.
