I really don't feel that way about books/dvds/cds/most-things.
Some video games are like that, but only because they're expensive to replace.

I have a couple of favorite books that are all tatty and old but I wouldn't replace them with new.
They're like old friends.

I don't like the idea of someone disrespecting me and my property. To them it may be just a book and it could be replaced
but to me it's much much more. Those books have helped me immeasurably, and they have far more sentimental value than a movie or a cd.
Some things are just more important than others to different people.

Don't get me wrong, I totally agree that respecting property is important
And I can see how if you love something like that, you would hate to see it go, esspecialy to someone who won't get the same love. But I look at it like making a hood meal for someone, that I've had all the pleasure I can get from it so get pleasure in giving someone else pleasure, if that makes sence.
