Slayer, Megadeth and Testament are doing a joint tour across the US. I would give up something precious to me or somehow inconvenience myself to be able to see all three of those bands in one night. Why won't they come to England?

I saw that exact line-up plus Suicidal Tendencies some time around 91/92? Clash of the Titans it was.
Testament were dreadful

I saw them supporting Priest earlier this year, along with Megadeth actually, and they were great.

although I believe my first ever CD was a testament album, for shame.
Haven't been to a gig for years, did see Henry Rollins in a spoken word show in Cambridge last year was very cool

Motorhead supported by The Damned next weekend innit?
Can't wait? I'm guessing the Damned will be focussing on their punk stuff. I fucking hope so, their 1st LP is a punk rock classic.

but my friends assures me he knows someone who will sort us out, otherwise he has promised to pay the extra for us to get them off a tout.

Like Gong supported by the Steve Hillage band, the night before.
ATTN VIPROS: THEY ARE PLAYING IN EXETER THIS FRIDAY. MISS IT AND YOU ARE A FOOL! Worth the entry price alone to see Hillage.

I'm in St Ives unfortunately
I've discovered that Jethro Tull are playing Torquay next year. I'm happy about that

I'd say Slayer and The Haunted in intimate venues will do for the time being, surely?
