Evening W
Since I finished Homeward bound (which was the last in the series of 8 books), I've not found any dead-tree based reading-material to fill the void.

You reading anything interesting?

Try some Charles Portis
His most famous book is True Grit - which subsequently got cowboy-Hollywood-ised featuring John "KKK" Wayne.

Don't let that put you off. True Grit is a fantastic book.

I'm re-reading "Dog of the South" for probably the fifth time and it's still fresh and very funny and wry.

Mainly the free papers on my train ride
But I did enjoy the latest Pratchet, and '50 ideas you have to know about physics'

I'm asking for Unseen Academicals for Christmas.
Saw an ad for it on the Tube the other week and spazzed very hard in front of the colleagues. They now think I'm even more mental than they did when they learned sending me an email that says "RICK ASTLEY" will reduce me to hysterics.
