They deserve each other.
The last Glastonbury I went to was '91 - the last year they had a travellers' field outside the main juggling ball cunt-off. It was fucking brilliant and I never set more than a few feet inside the main festival - and that was just to see if I could get in free. Of course this predated the machinegun towers and searchlights of today.

Hawkwind played at 6am on the Saturday and Monty was a very, very happy boy.

good time to come on, in fact, perfect time to come on.

Aren't they touring at the moment? I know they are to play Glasgow. Saw them once at the Barrowlands, was really there to see Aphex Twin to be honest. I dropped an acid and stood at the side and watched Hawkwind, the sound system they had was INCREDIBLE and by the time they had finished, and the woman had stopped dancing and the lights had stopped flashing, i was completely hypnotised. Only when afx dropped a few sonic bombs did i emerge from my stupor.

Brilliant night.
