I have to say that I hate xmas, I'm not christian so to me it's another co-opted festival that the christians stole!

Paganism was a generic term used by Early Christians to describe non-Christians. Xmas must have been stolen from the Winter Solstice festivities.

How much crap is there on TV at this time of year. I'm just glad I have a very expansive DVD collection, I could watch them all day over the break and still have plenty to watch for the rest of the year.

It makes me rage, when there are books so much more deserving of the level of attention this tripe is getting; it just reads like bad fanfiction. My Immortal level of bad fanfiction (and I like neither fanfiction nor Harry Potter). I'm almost tempted to write a book just to knock this craze into oblivion...

I don't have TNG
I do have the original series and all of Red Dwarf though, and a lot of DR Who, among other things.

I tried to get into Who and can't... have even less luck with Torchwood.
TNG is the only series I like o.O I've still got the movies as Flatmate has decided he wants them on blu-ray instead.
