Go steadyand pace yourself. I learnt this lesson the hard way the first free bar I attended with my parents- their friends were having some themed party or the other at the nicest hotel in town, with free bar. A good twenty shots of various alcohols later, just because it was there and you learn how glistening white loo walls become not so glistening white :(
