I'm off to see New Model Army tomorrow!
They're playing in Manchester and it should be full of aceness.

I was going to buy the new Alice In Chains album yesterday (I had a father-son day with littlepickle) but it wasn't in stock so got the Crooked Vultures album instead (top recommendation Vipros). I've only listened to the 1st 5 tracks so far and its fookin brilliant. The opening track and Dead End Friend are damn fine.

Alice in Chains have never featured on my

rock radar - I hear good things, but where should I begin?

And the 'unplugged' album
In act of extraordinary generosity, I actually have two copies of Dirt. If you would like the spare copy gaz me your details and I'll post it out to you (actually, if anyone wants it gaz me your details - 1st come, 1st served etc)

Very kind

But live in a purely digital music world, no space for more CDs.

I wasn't that keen on the unplugged album
it is still pretty good though

It's very good
but not as good as Pearl Jam Unplugged

I'll add them to my download list

I'm very much enjoying Watershead by Opeth at the moment.

I am a massive AiC fan
I think Dirt is a good overall representation of the kinds of things they do. Very dirty grungey metally and dark. Lovely.

Check out Jar of Flies if you like the more mellow grunge rock sound. The MTV unplugged album is simply beautiful.

My girlfriend went to see them last night
Apparently one of them signed her boob. I don't know which person though, I know nothing about NMA and she was drunk when she phoned me... at 1 in the morning.
