Anyone want a fucking superb t shirt? It's the cover of Hawkwind's Space Ritual on a black medium sized shirt. My lovely sister bought it for me but it is too small and I've fannyed around so long I can't return it now....

If you want this shirt, tell me why.

I'd rather have a bong than a too-small shirt any day

I find "Pie arse!"

I just think he means like a big meat pie

(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:23, Reply)
I would have it
but it blatantly won't fit me.

Do High & Mighty sell Hawkwind t-shirts?

(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:19, Reply)
are you insinuating that I'm a massive fat bastard?

(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:20, Reply)
surely
it's cos you like to get high and are a mighty axe-warrior?
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:22, Reply)
high and mighty are too words that often describe me
that is true.

but I feel that was not what she was getting at
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:24, Reply)
Just massive and a bastard.
I didn't imply fat
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:23, Reply)

I'm not particularly massive though

If I had kids.
I wouldn't want you standing on MY toys.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:26, Reply)
I'd have offered it by gaz if I didn't know that answer already
It's a thing of great beauty - I bought a large one and an 'In Search of Space' one for myself. They're lovely
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:21, Reply)
Because I'll wear it and nothing else around your house

strategically bending over every now and again...
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:23, Reply)
*spews all over desk*
EDIT: do you actually want it?
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:26, Reply)
It's very pretty
but I've never owned a Hawkwind album and would feel like a fraud.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:23, Reply)
^ same
would be pretty cool though
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:24, Reply)
A very honourable reply
Download it (or Warrior on the Edge of Time, my favourite) and if you like it, it's yours.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:26, Reply)
I am currently swaying to Space Ritual as located on youtube.
It's rather lovely :)
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:47, Reply)
One of the finest acts ever
Live they are something incredible to behold. More so when you discover Dave Brock is (I believe) 72.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:51, Reply)
Bloody hell!
Kudos to him for keeping going, too! Am getting into older, more psychedelic stuff of late and one of my colleagues made me download Dark Side of the Moon because I didn't have it.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:54, Reply)
you want the first two Pink Floyd LPs
Much, much better than 'Moon', I promise.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:58, Reply)
Duly noted!
I'm always open to the broadening of my musical horizons: my best friend is great for discovering new things and sending me them.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 18:04, Reply)
you want Tractor's self-titled LP
It's fucking SUPERB
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 18:09, Reply)
I want it.
Because I'm old and deserve it.

Edit - having googled it, I definitely want it now.

Edit 2 - just realised it's a medium but I could probably stretch it. I have the knowledge how to do this.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:30, Reply)
do you like the mighty Hawks?
EDIT it neeeearly fitted me, in a 70s way, but was just a touch too Bronski Beat for me to carry it off...
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:33, Reply)
A little.
I used to listen to them in my yoof.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:34, Reply)
if you really will wear it, gaz me your address
I would be honoured to supply it.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:38, Reply)

(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:38, Reply)

Having never had the pleasure, I can't honestly say
I have a 42" chest and it was tight to get on.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:42, Reply)
It's ok but thank you very much for the offer.
Give it to someone more deserving and with less money. But you could send me the details of where to purchase one in a large : )
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:40, Reply)
as you wish
(see gaz)
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 17:45, Reply)
hows about I tell you why I don't want it.
Because I won't fit into it.
Because I don't know who they are.
Because it's all the way over there.
Because you probably wanked into it.
(, Mon 7 Dec 2009, 18:03, Reply)

The lettering on the t-shirt spoils the image.
Got my eye on this one instead.

Kinda on the cusp of getting into Hawkwind and thinking they are very cool, even if they did chuck Lemmy out.
