Hello!

Everyone is having far to much fun in the film quote thread, so here is a serious-ish question...

I'm looking to get a bike for the other half for Christmas, but I confused abouit sizing this www.factorydirectbikes.com/bikes/optima_richmond_ladies/ looks perfect, but will it fit a 5' 5" girl?

What is the 19" that they refer to, the wheel height, the saddle height! Where's PJM when you need him!

19 inch is the frame size
not sure which particular bit.

I'd hazard that it might be a bit big, but not sure.

just checked online, and one site recommends 15-17 inch for someone 5'5"

almost certainly worth checking a few other sites though
just to be sure. I'm fairly sure my frame is 18" and I'm 6'2 though

If she's 5' 5", 19" is *way* too big.
She'll be better on a 15" frame.
