The cocking boiler man is here
He came on Monday to do the annual maintenance check on the gas appliances. He gave it the all clear.
The heating and hot water subsequently packed up yesterday.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED AFTER HIS VISIT LAST YEAR.
I said "It always happens after you've been to check it..." and he goes "This looks like the gas valve though. What was it last year?"
I said "I dunno, but the result was the same, you come and check it, say it's fine, it dies."
Now I'm not paying, the landlords are, but I think it's quite the scam.
I've aslo been inconvenienced whilst lying here dying of feline aids.

He said he could fix it so I gave him coffee (and I'm ILL right!)
Then he said the valve is in Wrexham and so I haz no heating and water until tomorrow. Good job I have a temperature right now...
The landlady said "Why didn't you pick this up in the service check?" and he said "Dunno, it gave a reading when I checked the pressure." and I said "Yeeeeeaaaah..." but I didn't say "Cunt".
