What's the buffet of dreams?

(, Fri 11 Dec 2009, 12:03, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
A magical event of joy and buffet food
Basically people turn up with booze and cocktail sausages and get twatted to Xmas songs and generally act silly. Some stay the night and get bacon on Sunday and watch Xmas films whilst in a scary hungover state... its good times for all! :D

Ahh, I thought it was more of an all you can eat sort of thing.

No but that would also be wicked!! :D

I usually find them full of chavs
and because I see "eat as much as you like" as some sort of challenge I end up painfully full. I'm not a big fan all in all.

I agree
same with carvery. last time I had one I ate too much and felt awful for about 4 days afterwards

It took me 35 years to finally twig
that I don't actually enjoy grotesquely over-eating all that much.

Just a year to go for me then.

I achieved it at the tender age of 27
still haven't learned not to though

I'm off to something along those lines tomorrow
With more metal than Christmas songs though.
(, Fri 11 Dec 2009, 12:11, Reply)
I am hoping for more metal at the party as well
but I'll have to be sneaky with my playlists to get away with that!! :S
(, Fri 11 Dec 2009, 13:22, Reply)
I'll bully DiT
into playing more if you want.
(, Fri 11 Dec 2009, 13:24, Reply)
I fully support this attitude
shame you are going to be on honeymoon when sonisphere is happening.

surely there is no better place to honeymoon than a rock and metal festival, a little north of london?

I'm going to Donnington next year instead.
Given the choice with being two miles from Stevenage or on the Cook Islands, I think I know where I would prefer to be.
