The tree is for me, really - I figured out today why I've had no Christmas spirit since I was 18 (cf: boardsig).
No carols at school, nothing leading up to it - and especially now I work all the way through December... as far as my mother is concerned I'm working all but Christmas Day.

Lets get technical here. My housemates put up a tree. I put a couple bulbs on it, but only one ornament is mine.
Technically I don't have a tree...do I?

I care not for the christmas tree. I don't plug it or the wreath in, nor do I turn on the candles in the windows.
Not to say that I don't have the spirit this year, because I do have a bit.

You may not have contributed to the materialistic side
but you've contributed some labour when assembling the christmastree. I wonder if the christmastreeless posse can gain more members by talking people into only contributing the labour towards the household christmastree acquisition.

It's almost all a sore throat
with a bit of a cough just lately. It wasn't too bad until Sunday, since then it's been pretty unpleasant. I took the day off today, I'll have to see what tomorrow brings. Strepsils seem to be helping.
