Just ate a very large chicken pie with fresh veg, followed by the worlds largest piece of victoria sponge cake.
Am now pleasantly full, and smug - having been off since Friday and have avoided some stressful work situations (driving trains in snow is NOT fun when you inevitably break down). Hopefully it will have all melted by Wednesday afternoon when I'm back.

I too have been off since Friday, but as I mentioned above, my plans have been b0rked by a combination of Train-Fail and Tunnel-Fail.

However I shouldn't look too smug - my car died today, and I was forced to spend 4 hours waiting for a very nice RAC man to turn up and tow me home.
Going to cost many £££ to fix probably too, Bloody stupid ice/snow... bah!

Exhust Manifold went and for some reason the coolant fluid has developed a liking for pissing out all over the engineblock. Hopefully nothing a visit to a breakers yard and/or ebay to source replacement parts won't fix. Just a pain and added expense not needed this time of year.

Renault Megane Scenic - I've been told by 3 people today that anything French is designed to fall apart after 100,000 miles. Mine's done 100,355. Eek!

i had a 2cv as my 2nd car after a chevette.
i still would never have a renault.
ever.
not even a 5gt turbo.
they are designed to fall apart.
it's not even like the lancia thing with the low quality steel, it's like they wanted to exemplify "designed-in obselescence" or summink.
but i would have a fuego...
