I've drunk with Kasabian (my village has a fishing lake and they like fishing)
but I didnt know they were Kasabian, and I probably wouldnt like their music anyway because all modern music is rubbish and just noise...

first thing I saw/heard about Kasabian
was an article when they were new on the scene and proclaiming they were the best band in the world.

that started my dislike

Really? What a bunch of arsehats
I remember Echo and the Bunneymen had a brief comeback in 1996 with "Nothing ever lasts forever" and the lead singer was adament that they were the best band in the world. Twats. Sure, "Killing Moon" is good, but not much else.

Nothing ever last forever was pretty good too
but those two songs are the only good thing they've done.

I know
they are pretty average.

I only know Echo and the Bunnymen's version of People are Strange, which is ok, but not as good as the original.

I suspect that if they were the best band in the world I might have heard more of their stuff, given how long they have been around.

My God Al - a musical 'totally agree' on this one.

NOOOOOOOO!
I've changed their mind, I love them, they are so very, very, very, very, very interesting.

Very like David Bowie, I believe.

I saw them in concert with The Music on my 21st birthday, my favorite concert EVER
Tom Meighan touched my arm and smiled at me. *melts*
