Havent seen it yet, but I willI read Conns books on Julias Ceasar as well, it rekindled my fascination with the Romans (I even watch the occasional Time Team if they are digging up a villa or wotnot).

Mate I LOVE all that stuff (I read the Caesar one too)Despite the fact that all I do on here is say things are shit all day, I'm actually a history nut. My degree is in Classical Civilisation and I am constantly reading history books - fictional or otherwise. I DO LIKE SOME THINGS.
I thoroughly recommend the Shardlake books by CJ Sansom, set in the Tudor period. They are thoroughly excellent: the chap is a mightily talented writer.
