I met a guy today with a small arm with all four fingers but no thumb
and the only word I could think of was Beadle.

You're right.
I asked on the staff email if anyone new anything about killing your wife fixing fridges and got a reply offering to sell me a bed.

Cornish people eh!

I bought the bed as we're kitting out the spare room and it was only 20 quid and is one of those awesome day beds with the slide out second bed underneath.
