Curly Wurly!
'cos I've been "out here" 11 years, it's quite hard to get English foodstuffs without forking over a paycheck.
For Christmas, I got a pack of curly wurlys, wagon wheels, and cadbury's chocolate.
I am now nomming on a Curly Wurly and it's giving me great pleasure.

What has given you great pleasure lately?

What are your favourite English foodstuffs that you can no longer get?

(, Tue 5 Jan 2010, 9:05, Reply)
Proper fish and chips,
But in the local 7-11 they do a good line of sausages, bacon, sausage rolls, marmite, ribena etc. It just costs a fucking lot of money. They also just brought in spaghetti....you know, the stuff in tomato sauce that's a quick lunch.

Oh, and Christmas pudding out here is unheard of.

The bottle of red
I sunk last night whilst feeling sorry for myself was fantastic. However now it's sort of making me want to kill myself. Probably due to to necking a bottle of white before I moved onto said red. I don't even like red wine.

It feels like someone's trying to slam a bendy bus into the back of my head. Thank god I'm a worthless student with a month off.
