Chicago
Any b3tans live in or around the Chicago area? I have a 3 1/2 hour layover there on Feb. 15th and wondering if downtown is easily accessible from the airport?

Edit: Also, if anyone wants to meet up for a drink somewhere near O'hare while I kill time that would be nice.
I'll also be in Lafayette, IN from the 15-18 Feb.

Bugger! I have to fly home that day
otherwise I could have made a small side trip! Hmmm....how far is Lafayette from where you live?

I mean, I'm awesome
but not so sure it's worth air fare

If it was close enough and a $50 flight
it might be fun to take a side trip. I'll look into it. Gaz me your info.

A three and a half hour layover is not nearly enough time
to see any of Chicago. O'Hara is quite a ways from town and with the new security (and fun full body pat-downs)it could easily take you a couple of hours or even more just to get through security. (The alternate airport, Midway) is a little smaller but 3.5 hours is still not enough time to do anything if you are flying through there).
