it's always sad that rodents don't live long enoughbut my tip is don't buy animals from Pets At Home. Previous hamsters from there died of genetic things, Jack, Smorg and Monkey came from a proper breeder and are far more healthy.

the place I went tocharged me about £20 for three hamsters and a hamster ball. I think stupid pets at home charge about £6 for hamsters, so it's worth finding a good pet shop/breeder who is careful about genetic things.
