Why are they fire proof?I'm not really sure, but something to do with the grey/silver stuff.
Why is it good for experiments? You can make stuff boom and burn more impressively.

Don't think they're made fireproof for any particular reasonIt's not like Pringles spontaneously combust much, that I know of anyway. So yes, just incidental.
