The advice I got
was that, if you're looking for work (and particularly if you need the cash) then it will probably look better on your CV/application if you had a series of short-term jobs rather than signing on because you were holding out for something better. It sounds like it's a fairly casual job so it won't be too much trouble to quit when you've found a job you actually want to do. So if it won't quite destroy your soul to do it, better to go with what they're offering and apply for something more satisfying in the meantime.

this is pretty much what I was going to say
as long as the job doesn't get in the way of looking for something better, and won't ruin your mind, then take it

Luckly, I've never signed on before, not even when I was propper-ill.
There were huge gaps, due to that sort of thing, and offline stuff, but I've done a few impressive things since then, so hopefully that'll sort me out.
