Speaking as someone working in a cab office
who meant to be here for a maximum of six months to get me out of a hole while I look for something else, and now I've been here for more than two years and it makes me want to eat my own face every single minute I'm here. I was under the impression that you really hated working there and I think you're right - you'll probably end up a phone jockey again. I dunno what else to suggest but I recommend you don't go back to something you actively dislike. I'm never coming back here again after this.

EDIT: I'll clarify this a bit. I'm never coming back here again because it's the easy way out. It's a comfort zone which just about pays my bills and removes my motivation to find another job. Should I ever find myself out of work again I'll work like fuck to find something, anything, but not this.

In the fifteen minutes it took me to finally post that, everyone else have really good advice. Plus, I just realised I'm only hanging on here to keep me in cheese and biscuits til I get my business off the ground in the spring, so don't listen to me.

I know what you mean, but I'm really in need of the stable income, in my break I've used up all my savings and having nothing to show for myself except hassle.
And it's an instant-sollution. I think though, I'm really really really going to pull my finger out and look for other things.

It's the people, I think. Some are ace, but some really are losers, like, proper losers. Not just "Haha, oh man, YOU LOSER", more like "Oh man, =/".

I love at least half of the drivers
and the customers are pretty cool, especially some of the regulars. But it's fucking rotten and jobs are being shifted off all over the place. Everyone who isn't bent hates working here and everyone who is rubs their hands together with glee. It really grates on me because I try to live an honest life and half the people in my job are sneaky dishonest cuntbags.

Anyway, do what you've gotta do to stay afloat I guess. But set yourself a time limit and don't lose that motivation for 'getting a proper job' you mentioned above.

I reckon about 25% I think are losers, 25% are really nice decent people, and I'm indifferent to the other half.
Luckly, in our firm, there isn't much bent stuff going on. Everyone reckons everyone else is, they say the greek controllers feed the greeks, turkish to the turkish and english to whoever pays... but in the yearish I worked there, I never saw a single bribe.
