I had to carry my lazy arse dog
For the last half mile home on Monday morning. Running through five miles of fields and woods took its toll as there was literally three or four inch layers of snow wrapped round all her legs. And I couldn't pull it out, had to wait for it to just melt. And it would've taken hours outside. She couldn't physically walk, they were like casts made out of snow.

So muggins here carried her through a field full of dozens of other dogs running about with what from a distance must have looked like four broken legs in plaster. And then later that morning she slept on my clothes that I'd ironed. I haven't acknowledged her since.

far be it from me to say Barry but
If you had ironed your clothes then why leave them where your dog could sleep on them...............first tip in puppy class was never to leave clothes, shoes, socks etc where the dog can get them.

Which reminds me I had better go and buy the BF some new socks......
poor old girl probably wonders what she has done wrong.
Tip for next time tho - bowl of warm water helps - I have a curly haired breed who had snow pyramids to walk on after our latest outing!

I'm a student
It's a bloody miracle I actually did some ironing, let alone put away said clothes properly. She's not young either, it's the first time she's ever done it.

Deep down I think she knew they were my clothes to be honest, she likes me the least out of the family as until I left for uni it was my job to bath her and she's shit scared of water. I think I'm seen as some sort of demon because of that, as my room's the only one in the house she won't sleep in. She'd do my head in if I didn't love the scruffy bugger.
