Try listening to half a dozen versions, as you try to compile a CD for a 2 year old . . .
that, is painful. Really painful.

good reason not to have children

It gets worse . . .
Hi 5 (Junk music for kids), The Wiggles, Dora the Explorer . . . the list of junk music goes on and on . . .

Back in my day, we had Play School, Rainbow and The Wombles . . . good clean, children's music . . .

Dio's lyrics were a bit 'O' Level, I grant you,
but I wouldn't call Rainbow children's music.

Ahahahah Monty you card, you.

Watching the ABC in the 70s and 80s . . .
it *was* all British . . .

Except Play School - which had local actors

Well your very lucky, we have to pay for that shit!

I was really pissed and had partaken in other substabances in acrappy nightclub at Uni, when I heard a strange yet familier voice, I looked around and there was zippy and george doing an appearance...I was very confused and a little scared

I was once out of my mind in a mate's car
driving along the Embankment, and when we stopped at the lights, alongside us was The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, which was excellent.

It was some Nickelodeon promotional thing but still smart.

I had visions of the "Doobie Snacks" scene from "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"
after reading that description.

Mind you, the same channel used to broadcast
"The Goodies" at 4-ish, after school, when kids had come home and were likely to want to watch before dinner.

Legless tells me in the UK it was billed as a more adult programme. Kids' TV here.

Nah, kids' TV here too

my daughter's favourite song is 'Back in Black'
I have video footage of her getting on down to it.

She also loves The Ramones - I am very proud of her.

(and a load of tosh from CeeBeebies if I am completely honest)

get her singing I wanna be sedated
loud in public, to embarrass her mother
(, Thu 14 Jan 2010, 11:21, Reply)
if i get her to sing 'Beat on the Brat with a baseball bat'
hopefully Social Services will take her away from her mum and she could come and live with me.

The Ramones' 'It's Alive' LP is one of the best live records by anyone, ever.
