on the topic of rubbish Irish bands,a mate of mine reckons he is personally responsible for the demise of The Golden Horde (not Genghis Khans army) cos he threw a bottle at Simon Carmody when they were a support act.

funny you should say thatone of my mates uncles was a teacher there. He's a sound man. He stays in touch with a lot of past pupils including us and them boys who he would have seen play in their youth. Unfortunately, he's just not the bottle-chucking type.
