One of my best mates is handing in a skip-load of uni work today
He's planning on being fired out of a canon or somesuch from 4pm onwards.
Whilst I shall pop over to share his joy, I would like to be home in time for Popstar to Opera Star (YES, ITV HAVE MADE SOMETHING I WANT TO WATCH!!!) because Marcella Detroit and Alex James are on it.

I'm also going to use up the rest of the lamb steaks I bought yesterday and make some kind of soup or stew.
(Yesterday my lamb steaks in white wine and dill were to die for, and my mashed potato is reaching perfection.)

I'm getting old and boring. Vip, go out, see your friends, interact. Don't be a grinch like me!

I might go out and get proper wellied on Saturday though. If it doesn't snow.

actually fired out of a cannon?
I imagine I will go out. my mates only live about 10 houses away, so I have no excuse really.

That's his term for what he does after handing in work
In private he said to me "Listen Roots, cos of all this work, I didn't have a birthday nor a Christmas. So Friday, if it moves, it's gettin rattled*, if it's wet, it's goin down me Gregory Peck, and if it's on the table it's goin up me hooter."

I thought Alex James was a bit of a cunt
until I found out he makes cheese. Now I love him a little bit

I had lamb steaks yesterday!
But just grilled as actual cookery is beyond me.

It's the same as grilling them
Just see it as upside down grilling.
